We are truly grateful for the recent volunteer work at the Historic Melrose, Inc building on Park Street. The new landscaping with Liriope plants and mulch is spectacular! A special thanks to Leslie and Peter Landauer for this project.
HMI and its generous members are fulfilling a core mission of maintaining and preserving historic structures in Melrose. The Vogelbach Drugstore (Homemaker’s Club) was built circa 1886 and has been a gathering place for many years, hosting community events, baby showers, weddings, and important lake area meetings. We thank Blue Star nursery for their excellent service, expertise, and landscaping materials.
