Melrose Heritage Park and HMI hosted wonderful volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 146 (Keystone United Methodist Church). Each boy provided four hours of hard work at the park. They are earning their Citizenship in the Community merit badge where eight hours of volunteer service are required. We offer a huge thanks to the boys and their family members who also helped: Izzy Lotow, Noah Lotow, Cathy Lotow, Damien Walter, Eli Peffley, Nick Vallance, Nolan Gets, Logan Madden-Moore, Bailey Gets, Ryan Gets, Emily Gets, Phoenix Cushman, Sara Hebert, and Patti Christensen! Our lovely fountain was cleaned out and twelve garbage bags were filled with weeds. We are grateful for all of the local volunteers who ensure Heritage Park is the prettiest in America.
