The HMI annual meeting was held on Sunday, February 16, 2020, 2:00 – 3:30 pm, at the Homemakers’ Club. Experts from the UF Sam Proctor Oral History program led an enthusiastic workshop on collecting oral histories.
HMI wishes to thank the presenters as well as express gratitude to Mr. Jimmy Price for his informative interview. Jimmy has lived in Banana and Melrose since 1927 and shared some great memories. Jimmy and his daughter Cathy authored a fascinating book about Melrose, Banana, and the Price family.
